| Class Description: THIS CLASS HAS THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE:
Theory component: Sept 13, 14, 20, 21from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Hands-on component: Sept 25 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. using the Mobile Training Lab
Course Objective – Looks at the different types of SDHW systems and their applications; Tools of the trade; SDHW system components installation and installation safety; SDHW system design considerations and permitting requirements; Why it makes sense to install SDHW systems prior to solar PV systems; Trouble-shooting and basic maintenance of SDHW systems; Solar pool heating; Hands-on installation of a SDHW system. |
