Theory January 23, 25, 25, 30, 31, and February 1, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays from 5:30 PM-9:30 PM
Hands-on February 3 and 4, Friday & Saturday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Course Objective – Course takes a detailed look at the theory of photovoltaic electricity, various PV materials, systems and associated equipment.  Looks at stand-alone, grid-tied and battery back-up systems, and various equipment configurations and mounting during installation.  The NEC and other building and safety codes and regulations are looked at in terms of the installation of PV systems.  Course provides participants with actual hands-on experience in the installation of PV panels, inverters, charge controllers and their integration with the regular electrical system.  Participants eligible to sit the NABCEP PV Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge exam upon completion of course.
